JoAnn Serafini, PNP, CRNP

Jo Ann Serafini is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with 32 years of nursing experience, 23 of which have been as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.  Jo Ann Is a proud wife and mother of one daughter.  She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.  Her nursing experience includes postpartum/newborn nursery, pediatric general medicine, same day surgery, post NICU pediatric care, and inpatient pediatric long term care. Jo Ann graduated from the University of Maryland in 2003 with a Masters of Science in Nursing, and became certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.  She is a proud Veteran of the United States Air Force, retiring in 2022 after serving 28 years.  She finished out her Air Force career as the commander of her medical squadron, leading over 80 airmen and considers her service to our country one of her greatest professional accomplishments.  She has a passion for pediatric medicine, children with special needs and their caregivers.  In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family on the water, boating, fishing, crabbing and enjoying nature on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Jo Ann loves children and is excited to spread that love to our PM Kidz community!
