Office Information

What days and hours is PM Kidz open?

We are open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm for all appointment types. We are also open Saturday from 8am to 12pm in both offices. We are closed on Sunday in the Hollywood office only.

Where is PM Kidz located?

We have offices in Waldorf and Hollywood Maryland.

Do I need an appointment?

We are currently only accepting walk-in patients at the Hollywood office on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. All other patients are seen by appointment only.


Services

What age patients are seen at PM Kidz?

We see newborns to 25 years of age.

What services do you provide?

PM Kidz offers a wide variety of medical care and has the ability to diagnose and treat many conditions. For a list of the services, visit our services page.

Do you provide x-rays or stitches?

No, we currently do not offer on-site x-rays or laceration care (stitches, skin glue or staples). We do offer suture (stitches) and staples removal.

Will my child always be seen by the same provider at PM Kidz?

Our medical team includes pediatricians and nurse practitioners with pediatric experience. We will always strive to maintain continuity of care whenever possible. However, all of our providers work collaboratively to maintain excellent consistency of care.

When should I go to the emergency room?

While we provide a wide variety of acute care pediatric services, there are some conditions that may require a higher level of care than we can offer. For help deciding if PM Kidz or the Emergency Room is right for your child, click here.

Do you provide vaccinations or well child check-ups?

Yes. We provide well child checks and routine immunizations. We also offer select vaccines for non-established patients.

Do you offer sports physicals?

Yes, PM Kidz provides sports physicals.

Will my pediatrician know about my acute care visit?  

Yes. For acute visits, a summary of your visit is faxed to your primary care physician’s office immediately after your visit. In addition, some conditions require us to call the primary provider for consultation or follow-up.

Can I get advice over the phone?

We are unable to provide medical advice over the phone unless your child is a PM Kidz patient or has been seen by our clinic for an acute care visit. If your child has been seen by our clinic, we are more than happy to answer any follow-up questions or provide any information pertaining to your recent visit.


Billing

Does PM Kidz accept insurance?

We accept most insurance plans. For a complete list of insurance plans that we accept click here. If your insurance carrier is listed, you will be responsible for any copayment, coinsurance and any deductible required by your carrier.

How much does PM Kidz charge for acute care visits?

Visit costs are based on services rendered. At the time of service, we will verify your insurance and estimate your patient responsibility cost. We will collect any required co-pays at the time of service. The remaining charges will be submitted to your insurance company. Self-pay patients will be provided with the fee-schedule for all services. For your convenience, we accept debit/credit cards and cash payments.

What if I don’t have insurance or my insurance carrier is not accepted at PM Kidz?

For those patients who don’t have insurance coverage or who are out-of-network, PM Kidz offers an affordable self-pay plan. Please call, email or visit us for more information.
