Prenatal Visits

Thank you for choosing PM Kidz Pediatric Primary and Acute Care Clinic. We look forward to getting to know you and your family in the years ahead. We are committed to providing exceptional care in a welcoming environment that is friendly to all our patients and families.

A Prenatal visit allows expectant parents to become acquainted with our providers, tour our office, and ask questions regarding the birth and care of their baby. After your visit, we hope you will feel confident in our providers and staff and comfortable at our office.

In-office prenatal visits have been temporarily suspended due to COVID-19. Telemedicine appointments for prenatal visits are available Monday through Friday. Call 240-585-7128 to schedule your virtual visit!

Complete Care

PM Kidz provides complete pediatric, adolescent and young adult care. Our professional and caring environment is here to support all patients and families.

Newborns

You do not need to register your baby with our office before your baby is born. Just let your obstetrician or delivering hospital know that you have chosen our practice to care for your baby. After delivery your care team should forward your baby’s records to us and assist you in setting up a newborn appointment with us before you leave the hospital.

We recommend that your baby’s first check-up be scheduled for 2-3 days after you leave the hospital. Remember to bring any records from the hospital and to bring a copy of your own insurance information. Your baby will be covered under your insurance for the first thirty days, but must be enrolled with your insurance carrier as soon as possible. Unless you do this within the first thirty days after your child is born, the child will have no insurance coverage under your policy.

Patients Transferring From Other Practices

For children who are new to our practice, please complete our Medical Record Release Form and we will submit it to your previous provider to have them forward your records to us. We do not require that records be sent to us before making your first appointment. In the event you have already requested records from the previous provider, please bring any copies of your child’s medical records, particularly vaccinations, with you to the appointment. Also bring your ID and current insurance card.
